Bio: Another in a long list of Gloucester players who has graduated from the St Peter’s School production line. Part of the same side as Marcel Garvey, fly-half Davies was part of the Gloucester Academy for some years. He made his debut for the England Under-21 side in World Cup tournament, and was a key member of the side that competed in Scotland in 2004. He made a handful of starts for Gloucester at the start of the 2003/04 season, before becoming under-study to Aussie stand-off Duncan McRae. Kicked a last-minute drop-goal against Bath last February to announce himself to the Premiership. He plays close to the gain-line and has excellent balls skills in the number 10 position. His confidence will grow with every match. Davies signed an extension to his Kingsholm contract in the summer
