Welcome

Hello and welcome to my site.

The site is by no means a definitive be all and end all guide to Gloucester RFC. I've designed it from a fans perspective and really it's just my views on the club that I love.

I've been following the club as long as I can remember, although not going far back in years (I'm 24) I remember the tump end when it really was the tump end, playing tag at the back of it, my card season ticket that was signed on entry. I also vividly recall with embarrassment the time I asked my dad which player was called Glos and if he was a friend of his as he was always telling him to go on! (In fairness I was six and also evidently a moronic child!) Since then I've enjoyed the banter of the fans, the Highs (Powergen cup wins, the pride even in defeat of watching our young lads come slightly of age against Wasps and of course anytime we beat barf!) and the lows (The defeat to Bath in the Pilkington cup final)

I've enjoyed watching the club evolve (perhaps slower than most) into professionalism and with the exciting talent coming through believe this is one of the most exciting times in the clubs history that I remember.

Anyway please be patient as the site develops as it is new and I'm doing this in my spare time away from work, I promise to keep the site as up to date as possible, feedback is very much appreciate.

Any one who would like to contribute to the site is more than welcome; in particular I'm looking for people who would like to report on away games, as I don't get to many. I also need someone to write player profiles from players before my time who I like to include on this site. Also any pictures I can use would be appreciated. All of course would be credited to the author. If you'd like to help out please get in touch.

I also intended to write the odd article on things that strike my fancy related to Glos. But my opinion is by know means the only one so if you'd like to write an article on something please submit it and I will include it with all due credit going to the author. Please however avoid anything offensive and most importantly libellous!!!!

Thanks to a certain person who wishes to remain nameless for the use of there photos, they've greatly added to the look of the site. Cheers nameless you've been a great help and has I drunkenly said before your amazing!!!
